Vertical Blinds - Vertical Shades

The characteristic of vertical blinds is that they are ideal for applications with high ceilings.

How to Measure:

  • When the window has an indentation: Measure the full width inside the indentation and subtract a small gap of 0.5-1 cm on each side.
  • For height, measure the full height inside the indentation and subtract from the bottom, usually around 2-3 cm.

These are the final dimensions required for the manufacture of vertical blinds.

For a Simple Window:

  • Add 5-10 cm to the window width on each side for sufficient overlap.
  • Add 5-10 cm to the window height at the top for the blind supports.
  • At the bottom of the window, usually add 5-10 cm, taking into account obstacles (e.g., radiator).

If the window opens inward, consider adding more width on that side to prevent the blinds from getting in the way.

For Patio Doors: Follow the same procedures as for a simple window, with a slight variation in estimating the height.

Blind Direction:

  • The blinds are gathered on the side of the window handle.
  • The control is placed on the same side.
