How We Measure:

  • When the window has a recess, measure the full width inside the recess and subtract a small gap from each side of 0.5-1cm, or more if necessary (e.g., holes for cables).
  • Measure the full height inside the recess and subtract from the bottom (practically as much gap as desired), typically around 2-3cm, to prevent the blinds or the chain connecting them from touching.
  • For the width of the window, add 5-10cm on each side to ensure adequate coverage.
  • For the height of the window, add 5-10cm at the top for mounting the blind brackets. Make sure no embedded cables are in the desired mounting area.
  • At the bottom of the window, add as much as desired, usually around 5-10cm, considering any obstacles (e.g., radiators).

Blind Direction:

  • The blinds are gathered on the opposite side where the window handle is located.
  • The control mechanism is also placed on the same side.
