Vertical Blinds - Vertical Shades
A feature of vertical blinds is that they are ideal for applications with high ceilings. Here are measurement instructions:
When the window has a recess:
- Measure the entire width inside the recess and subtract a small gap of 0.5-1cm on each side.
- Measure the entire height inside the recess and subtract 2-3cm from the bottom to prevent the slats or the chain connecting them from touching.
These are the final dimensions required for the manufacturing of vertical blinds.
For a standard window:
- Add 5-10cm to the window width on each side to ensure sufficient overlap.
- Add 5-10cm to the window height at the top for the brackets of the blinds. Make sure that there are no embedded cables at the desired height.
- Add 5-10cm to the bottom of the window, taking into account any obstacles.
If you have an inward-opening window, calculate more width on that side to allow the blinds to gather on the side of the window.
For balcony doors:
- From the total height, subtract 2-3cm from the bottom so that the blinds do not touch the floor.
Blind Direction:
- The slats are gathered on the opposite side of the handle.
- The control is installed on the same side.
