When the window has a recess:

  • Measure the width inside the recess and subtract 0.5-1 cm from each side.
  • Measure the height inside the recess and subtract 2-3 cm from the bottom, so that the slats or chain do not touch.

These are the final dimensions needed for the construction of the vertical blinds.

For a plain window:

  • For the window width, add 5-10 cm on each side for adequate coverage.
  • For the height, add 5-10 cm on the top for the brackets, ensuring there are no built-in cables.
  • At the bottom, add 5-10 cm, considering any obstacles.

For balcony doors: From the height of the balcony door, add 10-15 cm on the top and subtract 2-3 cm from the bottom.

Slat direction:

  • Usually, the slats are gathered on the side with the window handle.
  • The handle is also installed there.

Notes:
