How to Measure:
- For windows with recess: Measure the full width inside the recess and subtract a small gap of 0.5-1cm on each side.
- Measure the height inside the recess and subtract 2-3cm from the bottom to prevent the blinds from touching.
These are the final dimensions required for the construction of vertical blinds.
For a Simple Window:
- Add 5-10cm to the window width on each side for sufficient overlap.
- Add 5-10cm to the window height at the top for attaching the brackets.
- Add 5-10cm to the bottom of the window.
For balcony doors, the process is similar with the exception of subtracting 2-3cm from the bottom.
Direction of Blinds:
- The blinds are positioned on the side opposite the window handle.
- The control handle is placed on the same side.
