Vertical Blinds - Vertical Shades

How to measure:

  • For recessed windows, measure the width inside the recess, subtracting 0.5-1cm from each side.
  • Measure the height inside the recess and usually subtract 2-3cm from the bottom, so the blinds do not touch.

For plain windows:

  • Add 5-10cm to the width for adequate coverage.
  • Add 5-10cm to the height for the mounting brackets.
  • At the bottom, add 5-10cm or more if there are obstacles.

For opening windows, calculate additional width on the side of the opening.

For balcony doors: The same measurements apply, but subtract 2-3cm from the bottom to prevent contact with the floor.

Blind direction:

  • The slats are gathered on the side of the window handle.
  • The control mechanism is placed on the same side.
