For a window with a recess:

  • Measure the width of the recess, subtracting 0.5-1cm from each side.
  • Measure the height of the recess, subtracting 2-3cm from the bottom.

For a plain window:

  • Add 5-10cm to the width for adequate overlap.
  • Add 5-10cm to the height for the mounting brackets.
  • At the bottom, add 5-10cm if there are no obstacles.

If you have a casement window, calculate additional space for the blinds on the side that opens.

For balcony doors:

  • Subtract 2-3cm from the bottom.

Blinds are usually collected on the handle side, and the control mechanism is placed there.

Notes:

  • The shade of the fabric may differ from that on the screen.
  • A free sample of the blind is available to confirm your choice.
