The AJA OG-X-FR is a 2RU rack frame compatible with openGear, designed by AJA for professional audio and video signal processing cards. It supports up to 20 openGear card slots (full- and high-density split rear modules combined) and includes:
- Built-in cooling
- Front LCD display
- System alarm LED
- DashBoard control/monitoring support
- Two independent reference loop-through inputs
- Support for Gigabit Ethernet cards for networked modules
- Optional redundant/hot-swap power supplies
The available total power is 500W for the frame. Its dimensions are 483 × 427 × 90 mm, with an operating temperature range of 0–40°C.
It is often used to house openGear modules for SDI, audio, analog/digital conversion, and IP modules in broadcast/AV installations.
