The AJA HA5-12G is a compact active mini-converter that converts HDMI 2.0 / 2.0b sources to single-link 12G-SDI for 4K/UltraHD monitoring and routing. It features one HDMI input and two loop-through 12G-SDI outputs, supporting resolutions up to 4096×2160 (DCI 4K) and 3840×2160 (UHD) up to 60p with 4:4:4/4:2:2/4:2:0 capabilities, HDR InfoFrame detection, and metadata pass-through/embedding options, EDID emulation, and USB configuration via AJA Mini-Config. It supports embedded HDMI audio (up to 8 channels) as well as 2-channel analog audio (RCA) embedding into SDI. Power input is 5–16 VDC (universal power supply included), with power consumption of approximately 11 W. The device is housed in a gray metal enclosure.
