The AJA 12G-AMA-TR is a 12G-SDI mini-converter that functions as a 4-channel analog balanced audio embedder and disembedder. It supports SD/HD/3G/6G/12G SDI up to 4K/UltraHD (up to 4096x2160p60 YCbCr 4:2:2) and features single-link fiber I/O via an LC SFP transceiver (TR model). It includes selectable analog audio levels and configuration via DIP-switch and USB (AJA Mini-Config).

The analog I/O is provided through a 25-pin D female connector with breakout to 4x XLR inputs and 4x XLR outputs. Embedding functions include pass-through, remove, or override at the channel-pair level, with disembed always active. It supports up to 16 channels of embedded audio (some formats are limited to 8 channels). Audio path latency is low (~1100–1200 µs) and power is supplied from +5–16 VDC (~10 W). The product weighs approximately ~0.3 kg.
