The DELOCK PCIe x16 passive bifurcation adapter splits one PCI Express x16 (PCIe 4.0) slot into four internal SFF-8643 (U.2) NVMe ports. It requires bifurcation support from the motherboard (x16 -> x4/x4/x4/x4) to enable all four ports. It supports NVMe (NVM Express) only and is UEFI 2.3.1 bootable. It includes 4 drive activity LEDs and a low-profile bracket. The design is passive (without an active chipset) and relies on the system’s airflow to cool the connected U.2 drives.
