The TriBrer BML-209-10 fiber optic cable tester detects optical faults and breaks by emitting visible light at a wavelength of 650 nm. Its output power allows testing fiber optic sections over a distance of 8–10 km, and it operates in continuous or pulsed light mode.
Its universal connector supports standard 2.5 mm optical connectors, such as SC, FC, and ST, and is compatible with single-mode and multimode optical fibers. It features a low-battery indicator and a cover that protects the port from dust when not in use. During use, the laser beam must not be directed at the skin or eyes.
