  • Window with recess: Measure the width inside the recess and subtract 0.5-1 cm from each side. For the height, subtract 2-3 cm from the bottom so the blinds do not touch.
  • Simple window: Add 5-10 cm to the width and 5-10 cm to the height for the supports. If there is an obstacle such as a radiator, take it into account.
  • Balcony door: From the height of the balcony door, add 10-15 cm for the supports and subtract 2-3 cm from the bottom.

As a rule, the blinds gather on the side of the window handle, where the control is also installed.
