Wooden blinds add warmth and natural texture to the space, while offering precise light control by tilting the slats. Below are the measuring instructions:

  • For interior installation, measure the width inside the recess and subtract 0.5–1 cm from each side for ease of movement.
  • Measure the height inside the recess and subtract 1–2 cm from the bottom to prevent the bottom rail from touching the windowsill.
  • Check the recess depth. Wooden blinds have a larger profile, make sure there is enough depth for the brackets and the tilting of the slats.

For a standard window (external installation/overlay):

  • Add 5–10 cm on each side of the window width for adequate overlap.
  • Add 7–12 cm to the top of the window height for screwing the brackets.
  • Add as much as desired at the bottom for aesthetic effect, usually 5–10 cm.

Notes:

  • The shade on screen may differ from the actual wood.
  • Slats made of natural wood in thickness 25/50 mm.
  • Maintenance: dry dusting or slightly damp cloth.
