Vertical Blinds - Vertical Shades

How We Measure:

  • When the window has a recess, we measure the entire width inside the recess and subtract a small gap of 0.5-1cm from each side, or more if there is a reason (e.g. hole for cables).
  • We measure the entire height inside the recess and subtract from the bottom side (usually 2-3cm), so the blinds or the chain connecting them do not touch.

For a simple window:

  • For the width of the window, we add 5-10cm on each side for adequate overlap.
  • For the height of the window, we add 5-10cm at the top for the brackets.
  • At the bottom of the window, we usually add 5-10cm.

The same applies for balcony doors as for simple windows, with one difference: from the total height, we subtract 2-3cm from the bottom so the blinds do not touch the floor.

Blind Direction:

  • As a rule, the blinds gather on the side where the window handle is located.
  • The control is placed on the same side.

  • The shade you see may vary from the fabric due to different color rendering of each screen.
