Vertical Blinds - Vertical Shades
A characteristic of vertical blinds is that they are ideal for applications with great height.
How We Measure:
- When the window has a recess, we measure the entire width inside the recess and subtract a small gap of 0.5-1cm from each side, or more if necessary.
- We measure the entire height inside the recess and subtract usually 2-3cm from the bottom to prevent the blinds from touching.
These are the final dimensions needed for the construction of the vertical blinds.
For a Simple Window:
- To the width of the window, add 5-10cm on each side for adequate coverage.
- To the height of the window, add 5-10cm at the top for mounting the supports.
- At the bottom of the window, add 5-10cm, taking into account any obstacles.
If you have an inward-opening window, calculate additional width on that side, so the blinds stack on the outside edge of the window.
For Balcony Doors:
- From the total height, be sure to subtract 2-3cm from the bottom to prevent the blinds from touching the floor.
Blind Direction:
- The blinds gather on the opposite side where the window handle is located.
- The control is placed on the same side.
Notes:
- The shade you see on your screen may differ from that of the fabric.
