Vertical Blinds - Vertical Shades
How We Measure
- When the window has a recess: We measure the full width inside the recess and subtract a small gap of 0.5-1cm from each side.
- We measure the full height inside the recess and subtract from the bottom side, usually this ranges between 2-3cm.
These are the final dimensions needed for the construction of the vertical blinds.
On a Simple Window
- For the width of the window, we add 5-10cm on each side for sufficient overlap.
- For the height of the window, we add 5-10cm at the top for the brackets.
- At the bottom of the window, we add 5-10cm if there is no obstruction.
- In case of an inward-opening window, calculate more width on the side of the opening window.
For Balcony Doors
- From the total height, meaning the height of the balcony door plus 10-15cm at the top for the brackets, subtract 2-3cm from the bottom.
Blade Direction
- The blades gather on the opposite side where the window handle is located.
- The control is placed on the same side.
