First of all… how to measure:

  • In the case of a recessed window, measure the width inside the recess and subtract 0.5-1cm from each side.
  • For the height, subtract 2-3cm from the bottom side so that the blinds do not touch the floor.

For a simple window:

  • Add 5-10cm to the width for sufficient overlap.
  • Add 5-10cm to the top height for the brackets.
  • At the bottom, add 5-10cm, taking any obstacles into account.

Direction of the blinds:

  • The blinds gather on the side of the window handle.
  • The control is placed on the same side.
