Description

The Mavic E-Deemax 27.5" Boost Disc SRAM XD bicycle wheelset is a set of asymmetrical wheels designed for MTB electric-assisted bicycles. Mavic has ensured that this wheelset can easily withstand demanding trails and the heavy loads characteristic of off-road electric bikes.

The rims of this set are made from Maxtal, Mavic's patented aluminum that offers reduced weight while maintaining high strength. Additionally, the designers chose welding and a new 30 mm rim profile, which facilitates the installation of even the tightest tires. The PFP technology used helps to increase durability at the spoke holes.

This construction is based on a unique design of the upper sidewall of the rim – tests have shown that it allows for withstanding shocks up to 20% stronger without damage. The Mavic E-Deemax 27.5" Boost Disc SRAM XD wheel uses next-generation Infinity hubs, specially developed for electric bicycles. The hub design allows the spokes to be replaced without removing the rotors or cassette.

The spokes are made of reinforced steel, while this wheelset is prepared for a SRAM XD driver body and 6-bolt disc rotor mounts. The set is fully compatible with tubeless systems, allowing riding with lower tire pressures. This solution improves grip and bike control while reducing weight and the likelihood of tire punctures.
