The dimmer switch is used for turning on and off as well as adjusting the lighting intensity in apartments or other spaces such as offices and shops. It is turned on and off by pressing the button and adjusted by rotating it. For higher intensity lighting, turn the knob clockwise.
Compatible lighting: The universal dimmer switch works with lighting:
- LED 230V - dimmable sources 0-100W maximum 10 pieces.
- LED 12V - with dimmable electronic DC transformer or dimmable electronic AC transformer with AC/DC converter.
- GLS - 230V halogen lamps.
- CFL - dimmable compact.
- 12V halogen lamp - with dimmable electronic transformer.
It does not work with toroidal core transformers and other inductive loads. Connection to such devices will cause damage to the dimmer. The LED light source must be dimmable. This information is usually indicated on the packaging or the light source and is typically marked with the following symbol.
Automatic timer: The dimmer can be used as an automatic timer that will turn off the lighting after a set time (from 30 seconds to 128 minutes) when activated.
"Sleep time" function: By pressing and holding the button (for more than 2.5 seconds), the "Sleep time" function is activated, which turns off the lighting after a 90-second delay. During this function, all dimmer functions are available, meaning you can adjust the brightness at any time or turn off the lighting by briefly pressing the button.
Operation in staircase system: The dimmer allows operation in a staircase system with a "light" or "bell" switch without backlight. It is turned on and off by a short press of the button. To adjust brightness, hold the button for more than 2 seconds. When the button is released, brightness adjustment stops at the current level. While holding the button, brightness continuously changes from minimum to maximum and back. Brightness adjustment via an external button always starts by increasing brightness. When the dimmer is off, holding the external button for more than 2 seconds will turn on the dimmer at the minimum programmed level and start increasing brightness as described above.
