Description

Description

The dimmer switch is used for turning lighting on and off, as well as adjusting the light intensity in apartments or other spaces such as offices and shops. It is turned on and off by pressing the button, while the adjustment is made by rotating the knob. For brighter light, turn the knob to the right (clockwise). A frame is required for installation and it can be used in multi-frame systems.

Compatible lighting fixture

The universal dimmer switch works with the following lighting fixtures:

  • LED 230V - dimmable sources 0-100W maximum 10 pcs.
  • LED 12V - requires dimmable electronic DC transformer or dimmable electronic AC transformer with AC/DC converter
  • GLS - incandescent, halogen lamps 230V
  • CFL - compact dimmable
  • Halogen lamp 12V - with dimmable electronic transformer

It does not work with local core transformers and other inductive loads. Connection to such devices may damage the dimmer. The LED lamp must be dimmable, as usually indicated on the packaging or the light source.

Automated timer

The dimmer switch can be used as an automated timer, which will turn off the lighting after a preset time (from 30 seconds to 128 minutes) after it is turned on.

"Sleep time" function

Pressing and holding the button (for more than 2.5 seconds) activates the "Sleep time" function, which turns off the lighting with a 90-second delay. During this function, all dimmer capabilities are available, meaning you can adjust the light intensity at any time or turn off the lighting with a short press of the button.

Function in staircase system

The dimmer switch allows operation in a staircase system with a "light" or "bell" switch without illumination. It is turned on and off with a short press of the button. To adjust the brightness, hold the button pressed for more than 2 seconds. Releasing the button stops brightness adjustment at the current level. During the button hold, the brightness continuously changes from minimum to maximum and back. Brightness adjustment via the external button always starts with increasing brightness. When the dimmer switch is off, holding the external button for more than 2 seconds turns the dimmer on at the minimum programmed level and begins to increase brightness as described above.
