I used to write technical descriptions, about concrete, rebar, resins, that needed to be written and maybe I liked it a little. Then, a notebook followed with a thick light blue cover, like a travel diary. Bland, dry, and somewhat repetitive. It did not progress. Until recently, about a year or two ago, when the urge to gather some thoughts and remember a few of the journeys appeared suddenly, like a wild card. The phone was always nearby, ready at the finger's touch, instead of a pen.
