The book "Starting to Learn Mathematics for Toddlers" is designed and written in accordance with the principles of General Psychology, incorporating insights from expert teachers, preschool educators, and Preschool Education Consultants, through their conferences, as well as the goals of the Preschool Curriculum, for the "introduction of the toddler to basic pre-mathematical concepts and processes".

Its aim is to overcome the difficulties that toddlers typically face, and to help them acquire the necessary mental prerequisites and skills for approaching logical-mathematical concepts and later teaching mathematics in elementary school.
