The 500 g horsetail contains the above-ground parts of the plant and comes from Greece, from the Pieria Mountains in the Imathia regional unit. It is also known as field horsetail or shavegrass and contains silica and other minerals.

To prepare an infusion, boil 1 tablespoon of crushed herb or a pinch of uncrushed herb in 1 glass of water for 5 minutes, then leave to cool and strain. For rinses, use 50–60 g per 1 litre of water. For a bath, soak 100 g of herb in hot water for one hour and add the liquid to the bathwater. Store the herb in a cool, dark place. Usage information is provided for informational purposes; consult a doctor before use.
