Burdock is a dried herb containing the aerial parts of the plant. It comes from Greece, specifically the Imathia regional unit, where it is harvested at low elevations in the Pierian Mountains. It is used to prepare infusions, tinctures, and herbal food supplements.

To make an infusion, pour a cup of boiling water over one tablespoon of the herb in a covered container. Leave to steep for 10–15 minutes, then strain. It can also be used externally as a wash. Store in a cool, dark place at 5–15 °C.
