Historical Information: Dictamnus, also known as "Erontas," has a strong presence in the history and mythology of Crete, where it originates. It is referred to as the sacred plant of Zeus and the name "Erontas" is linked to its properties as a love tonic. Aristotle and Hippocrates mention its healing properties, while the Minoans used it for wound healing. The plant mainly grows in the rocky areas of Crete.

Properties: Dictamnus has been confirmed to help with indigestion and bloating. It has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. It has also been studied for its effect as a love tonic, enhancing libido, and for its antioxidant action, making it ideal for combating stress. Additionally, it has been studied for its impact on regulating the menstrual cycle and reducing menopause symptoms.

Usage: Add 1 tablespoon of ground dictamnus (or a pinch of unground) to a covered container and pour 1 glass of boiling water over it. Let it steep for 10-15 minutes and strain before use. Ideal for vegetarians and vegans.
