Historical background and plant morphology: Ligaria (Vitex agnus-castus) is a shrub or small tree that grows in coastal areas and low altitudes. Known since ancient times, it has been used in folk medicine. In ancient Greece, women used the plant to regulate their cycle, and in Roman times it was considered a symbol of purity.
Properties:
