Historical Information and Plant Morphology: The nettle (Urtica dioica) is a perennial plant found in temperate regions. Its leaves are covered with fine hairs containing histamine, causing itching. In traditional medicine, it is used as a tonic and blood purifier, as well as for treating pains and skin conditions. In Ancient Greece, Hippocrates mentioned it as a beneficial plant.

Usage: 1 tablespoon of crushed nettle is steeped in 1 glass of boiling water, left for 10-15 minutes, and strained. For washes, use 50-60 gr per liter of water.
