The SmallRig mounting base is designed to support and protect the camera, with the ability to mount additional accessories. Its design maintains full access to the buttons, ports, and TF card slot, allowing card changes without removing the base.

The base is Arca-Swiss compatible and can be mounted directly on Arca-type tripods for stable video use. It can also function as a magnetic back plate, attaching to flat magnetic surfaces with angle adjustment for stable shots, or as a desktop stand for shooting on a flat surface.

The base features a cold shoe mount for accessories such as microphones or small LED lights, while the two side 1/4”-20 threads allow the attachment of handles, magic arms, and other compatible accessories. On the front, it has a bidirectional magnetic quick-release mount for fast mounting and removal with compatible quick-release bases.

The dedicated strap hole allows the included wrist strap to be attached, reducing the risk of dropping during use. The base is suitable for users who need a compact, flexible, and expandable mounting solution for DJI Osmo Pocket 4P / 4 / 3 and Xtra Muse.
