The iPhone 16 battery is a lithium-ion (Li-ion) type with a nominal capacity of approximately 3,561 mAh. Its operating voltage is 3.85V, while the total energy it can store amounts to approximately 13.7 Wh.

The improved energy efficiency of the A18 processor and better power management allow for increased battery life, with up to 20 hours of video playback and up to 80 hours of audio playback.

It supports fast wired charging up to 20W, as well as MagSafe wireless charging up to 15W, with compatibility with the Qi2 standard.
