With 90 hours now in the game, I can say that it is a very good choice and an excellent turn-based RPG. Quite close in mechanics to the Pokemon versions, but of course with differences that make it stand out in its own way. Almost 500 Digimons, with interesting ways to obtain them, train them, and evolve them. In addition, the game has voice acting, cinematic cutscenes, distinct voice lines, and animations for many attacks. It will provide you with a memorable experience and, of course for those who watched the series, a nostalgia for your childhood years. It is worth it for fans of such games. Give it a chance and you won't regret it.

A few negatives, but I will mention some.
It has loading times because the world is divided into small maps and with some quests, although not often, it will make you run from one loading screen to another.

It has DLCs, but I wasn't thrilled. You will get some extra evolutions and gameplay, but it is not necessarily worth it. You won't miss anything essential.
Unfortunately, it has a "pay to win" element of around 8 euros if I remember correctly. You get 3 "dungeons" where you simply eliminate other Digimons for levels, gold, and materials, and you can do it as many times as you want. It is not necessary, but maybe some will pay for the convenience.
Last, although for some it may be subtle,
is the character movement. It seemed a bit strange to me. I mean how the character runs and turns while exploring the world. Pokemon Legends of ZA was much better in this regard.

In any case, for me it is clearly worth the money it asks, excluding the DLCs. The best Digimon game for sure and maybe one of the best JRPGs, monster collecting turn-based. A very good and solid step forward. I hope their next one will be on a larger scale and with a few fixes, and we will be talking about a true competitor to the well-known giant we all know.
