Description
The G572 of D-Link is a mobile router, a device that connects other devices (e.g. computer, mobile, television) wirelessly, and shares internet access. It receives internet access through the integrated modem and uses the mobile network by installing a SIM card. The SIM card needs to have an active data connection.
It connects to the 5G network, which offers significantly higher speeds than 4G. To operate at this speed, the device needs to have corresponding coverage from the mobile network in the area we are in.
It emits a signal at two frequencies, 2.4 & 5GHz. It offers higher speeds compared to single band and can connect more devices. The 2.4Ghz frequency is the most widespread and has a long range. The 5Ghz provides higher speeds than 2.4Ghz but is more sensitive to obstacles (e.g. walls) that reduce its range. This difference, as well as its more limited use, helps to have fewer interferences from other networks.
It offers state-of-the-art WPA3 security, with even greater password protection and easier and secure device connection.
