Description

The Ajax Systems WaterStop 1/2" is a wireless water valve that detects leaks. It can operate either as part of the Ajax security system or independently without a Hub, without creating scenarios. The batteries are replaceable with a lifespan of up to 3 years.

The valve allows for the minimization of routine actions and automatic water shut-off in case of:

  • Alarm from the LeaksProtect leak detector.
  • Schedule for water shut-off at a specific time.
  • Change of security mode during arming and disarming.
  • Manual shut-off with the LightSwitch.
  • Emergency need with the press of a button.
  • Temperature, e.g., shut-off in heating pipes for winter.

Ajax WaterStop Jeweller

The Ajax WaterStop Jeweller is an advanced wireless electric valve that ensures the automatic shut-off of the water supply in case of leak detection. It combines a high-quality valve from RuB with a powerful electric actuator that produces a torque of up to 8.5 Nm, capable of closing even a stuck valve. In combination with LeaksProtect detectors, the system cuts off the supply within just 7 seconds, minimizing the risk of serious material damage.

In 3 Size Versions

The device offers full remote control through the Ajax applications, allowing the user to manually shut off the water or schedule automation scenarios. It is possible to cut off the supply when the security system is activated or according to a specific timetable. The actuator is compatible with valves that meet the ISO 5211 standard and is available in three size versions (½", ¾", and 1"), covering every residential or industrial need.

Simple and flexible installation

The installation is simple and flexible, as the activator is placed on the support platform without tools in four possible positions. The device operates autonomously with four pre-installed CR123A batteries that provide up to 3 years of life, while there is the option to connect an external 9–12 V⎓ power supply for continuous operation. In case of a power outage, the batteries act as a backup source, ensuring uninterrupted protection of the area.

Jeweller Technology

The Jeweller technology ensures secure two-way communication with the hub at a range of up to 1,100 meters, using encryption and interference protection. The system features tamper protection, immediately notifying in case of an attempt to detach the activator from the valve. Additionally, it includes a special anti-sabotage clasp, making it suitable for public spaces such as offices and stores.

Maintenance & protections

The device design allows maintenance in hard-to-reach areas without requiring the disassembly of the valve itself from the pipes. The WaterStop protects against overheating and overcurrent, notifying the user via smartphone alerts. Supporting up to 200 detectors and valves in the same system, it is the ideal solution for creating a comprehensive flood protection network in buildings of any scale.
