Technical specifications:
- Tensile strength Re [N/mm2]: >320
- Strength Rm [N/mm2]: >510
- Elongation A5 [%]: >30
- Impact toughness Kv [J]: >55 J (20°C), >30 J (-190°C)
- Electrode type (coating): rutile
- Ferrite content: FN = approximately 5
- Drying: 300 - 350°C / 2 hours
The rutile electrode is designed for welding stainless steels, austenitic, unstable austenitic with Nb or Ti, as well as ferritic stainless steels from the 13% Cr group. It provides very good arc ignition, both primary and secondary (even cold). It ensures a stable arc and smooth formation of the welding arc with self-peeling slag. The welding result is resistant to thermal cracking and free from dark oxidized high-temperature surfaces. The metallic welding material is resistant to intergranular corrosion up to 350°C. The electrode performs excellently in vertical welding and allows trouble-free execution of welding in the PF position, producing welds with ideal, flat geometry. During welding coating, the metallic welding material tends to straighten the edges, facilitating proper welding.
Application: Food and chemical industry. Widely used in the production and installation of architectural and decorative metal constructions for residential and public buildings: protective railings, frames, plumbing fittings, etc.
