The Thirard "STD" lock is a security cylinder with features that make it suitable for old locks. It features the UNI (reduced) cam, which is smaller than the cams of standard cylinders and is compatible with locks manufactured 40-50 years ago.

The 5-pin mechanism offers a good level of security against break-ins, reinforced by the cam with break protection.

The lock allows the key to be used in both directions, as it has two closed ends.

The package includes 3 nickel-plated brass keys and the cylinder is made of brass.
