Xeno Crisis is a revival of the successful crowdfunded title for the Sega Mega Drive / Genesis. It is an arena shooter that can be played solo or in local co-op mode.

Take control of seasoned marines as they take on a deadly mission to face an alien threat and return home alive!

Run and shoot your way through thousands of opponents as you explore the devastated research outpost, searching for survivors and ultimately facing the source of the outpost's destruction.

Outpost 88 is divided into seven distinct zones, which are randomly generated in each playthrough, meaning your strategy must evolve on the fly to succeed in your mission.

Collect tags from defeated enemies to upgrade your equipment between zones, and watch out for special weapons that will give you a temporary advantage.

Although the standard pulse rifle is capable of dealing with the enemy, other weapons can offer advantages in certain situations, so their use is recommended - just be careful not to run out of ammo!

As you progress through the colony, you will encounter many different enemies, each with their own characteristics and attack patterns. Many can be taken down without much thought, but others require the player to flank them, attack them within a specific time, or avoid them entirely!

At the end of each zone, you will have the opportunity to trade any tags you have collected for upgrades, from extra health to weapon boosts and extra continues.
