Developed in collaboration with the legendary guitarist Stu G, the Kilt was launched in 2015 and since then has become one of JHS's most popular overdrive/distortion pedals. Its goal was to meet the needs both in the studio and on tours worldwide.

The original Kilt stood out for its clarity, versatility, and musical response, while users were asking for more clean tones, a more distinct effect from the flat/cut switch, and greater control over low-gain textures. The Kilt 10 responds to these needs, while maintaining the DNA that made it beloved.
