The product Multi Stain Remover is designed to remove stains and marks from iron, copper, manganese, and cobalt from the surfaces of swimming pools. Most stains are caused by unbalanced water.
General instructions:
- Before use, adjust the pH to 7.0 and ensure all disinfectant levels are at 0 ppm (mg/l).
- Backwash the filter.
- For colored marble finishes or printed liners, avoid direct contact with the pool surface.
- Dissolve the product in a clean plastic container and, with the pump and filter running, distribute evenly around the pool.
- Alternatively, place the product in a sock on a telescopic pole and hold it close to the stained area.
Important: After stain removal, Lo-Chlor No More Metal must be added to the pool water to remove dissolved metals and prevent the reappearance of stains.
Keep the pump and filter running for at least 24 hours and rinse the filter thoroughly before resuming normal filtration. This process reduces pH and total alkalinity, so the pool water must be rebalanced after treatment.
When restoring balance, first slowly increase total alkalinity over several days (no more than 20 ppm per day) to avoid stain recurrence.
Do not swim in the pool during treatment or after treatment until the pool has been balanced and disinfected.
Stain treatments may cause water cloudiness. In this case, use the clarifier Lo-Chlor Miraclear Clarifier.
