The SmallRig 4663 card reader supports CFexpress Type A, SD/SDHC/SDXC, and microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC cards, as well as UHS-I and UHS-II standards. It features two USB-A ports, one USB-C port, one HDMI port, and Gigabit Ethernet for connecting peripherals. Read speeds reach up to 1,000 MB/s for CFexpress Type A and up to 312 MB/s for SD and microSD.

USB-C supports bandwidth of up to 10 Gb/s, while USB-A supports up to 5 Gb/s. The HDMI output supports resolutions up to 4K at 30 Hz, and the PD-IN port supports charging at up to 100 W. The device features a heat-dissipation design and operates at temperatures from -10 °C to 50 °C.
