The RadioMaster T8L is a compact RC transmitter with a built-in 2.4GHz ELRS module. It is primarily suited to beginner pilots looking for a reliable transmitter from the well-known RadioMaster brand at an affordable price. It is the first screenless transmitter to offer official support for the ExpressLRS project.
The transmitter is configured via a web interface, with no need to install additional software. You can adjust joystick calibration, channels, transmission power, button behavior and firmware updates.
The transmitter is equipped with Hall-effect gimbals with bearings, providing smooth operation and precise control, including with the trim buttons. The transmitter’s joysticks are removable for easy transport. It includes three buttons, two switches and one potentiometer. A USB-C port is also provided for connecting to a simulator and charging.
A major advantage of the transmitter is its built-in ELRS module, with up to 100mW of power and a high refresh rate. ExpressLRS (ELRS for short) is an open-source project, and both transmitters and receiver modules are produced by multiple manufacturers. ELRS is currently one of the most advanced RC transmitter systems. At 2.4GHz, ELRS outperforms traditional RC systems in every area while retaining short antennas.
Power is supplied by two 18650 lithium batteries (not included), which can be charged directly via the USB-C port.
