The Hydronaut Pro thermal paste features a silicone-free carrier structure. Many thermal pastes use silicone oils as the carrier fluid. Under thermal stress, especially during temperature changes, alterations in the paste may occur, such as leakage and migration from the contact surface. This can be intensified by repeated temperature fluctuations and micro-movements between the CPU IHS and the cooler base. This phenomenon is known as the pump-out effect. In normal computer use, this is generally harmless, but in industrial applications, leakage of silicone oil can be undesirable.

Hydronaut Pro complies with the RoHS regulation and is designed as an easy-to-use thermal material for demanding users.
