Tarken WM is a smart solution for the automatic opening and closing of windows, replacing the standard window handle. It is a device that enables automatic opening, closing, and locking of the window, while integrating its control into smart home automation systems.

It turns any tilt-and-turn window into a smart window, without wiring, drilling, or permanent modifications. Tarken is a smart actuator for double-glazed windows and doors that monitors air quality and automatically controls the opening and closing of the window to maintain a healthy and comfortable indoor climate.

Window compatibility

For installation, the window must meet the following requirements:

• Tilt-and-turn window
• Handle fixed with 2 screws at a 43 mm distance
• 7 mm square spindle diameter
• Spindle length between 25 and 40 mm
• Maximum distance of 35 mm from the center of the handle to the edge of the window
• Support for PVC or wooden windows
• Minimum flat mounting surface of 20 mm
• Recommended for windows up to 1 m wide
• Recommended for windows up to 1.5 m high

Quick installation

• Remove the existing handle
• Attach the device using the existing holes
• Apply the adhesive stopper to the window frame
• Set up via the app and integrate with Matter

Battery and power

Tarken is designed for long-term use, offering up to one year of battery life on a single charge under normal usage conditions.

Each device includes an adhesive solar panel that can significantly reduce the need for charging and, with favorable light exposure throughout the year, can eliminate the need for manual charging. A full charge (via USB-C port) enables approximately 1,400 activation cycles (opening and closing), excluding standby power consumption.
