Description
Mini PC by Lenovo. The model ThinkCentre Neo 50q Gen 6 incorporates the processor Intel Core Ultra 5 226V clocked at Ghz.
It has 16GB RAM DDR5, a size capable of supporting the processor in all demanding tasks.
It is equipped with one SSD drive of 512GB. This capacity is enough for the operating system, additional programs apart from the basic ones, and storing a considerable volume of photos, videos, etc. If it fills up, there is the option to purchase an external hard drive, as well as the option to replace the existing internal drive with a larger capacity one.
Finally, it has connectivity options such as DisplayPort, Ethernet, HDMI, USB 2.0, USB 3.2, USB-C. With the HDMI port, you can connect an external monitor, TV, or Home Cinema that has this port.
The DisplayPort connects the mini PC with the same devices as HDMI. Generally, it is recommended over HDMI if the latter is not HDMI 2.1 and if the DisplayPort version is not too old like version 1.2. It also has greater bandwidth compared to HDMI and for this reason, it is chosen for multi-monitor use.
With the Ethernet port, you can connect to the internet via cable. With the USB-C port, you can connect, charge, and transfer data from smartphones and tablets at high speeds and high charging rates. You can also connect monitors and docking stations that have this port.
The USB 3.2 port offers faster data transfer (20 Gbit/s) than previous versions, when connected to a USB 3.2 port.
It does not include an operating system and will need to be installed separately. It is chosen when the user already has a license that can be used on the new mini PC.
Mini PCs are computers that occupy a small size, add a special aesthetic to the space, and are mainly used in the professional field or as media centers by connecting them to the TV or home cinema. They are not recommended for Gaming as they do not have features that allow it and the upgrade possibilities are limited. Mainly the RAM and storage medium are upgraded. They also consume much less energy compared to a Desktop PC.
