A durable nylon strip placed between the rim and the tubeless tape prevents pressure from pressing onto the spoke holes and ensures a smooth connection between the tire and the rim. The smooth surface eases tire installation, preventing air loss around the bead during each inflation. The Solid Strip also protects the airtight system from punctures in case of a broken spoke.
