The base is made of beech wood, with a diameter of 12 cm.

Cast iron is a material that heats up slowly but, once heated, retains heat very well for a long time. This makes the cookware suitable for most cooking techniques, whether frying, slow cooking, or oven cooking.

Features:

  • The wall thickness of the pot is 3 mm.
  • Internally, the product is coated with a layer of beige enamel that facilitates the formation of a non-stick surface during cooking with grease.
  • The vitreous enamel, the material used for the exterior finish of LAVA cast iron cookware, is obtained by spraying glass powder at temperatures of 750 - 850°C.
  • The glass powder adheres to the surface of the pot, creating a protective layer that also helps with optimal heat distribution.
  • The base thickness is 5 mm, which makes it possible for Lava cookware to be used on all types of hobs, including induction hobs.

Do not use in the microwave oven.
