Body Construction, Wood Selection & Cutaway Ergonomics

The body combines a solid mahogany (Mahogany) back with a carved maple top (Maple Top), finished with a curly maple veneer (Flame Maple Veneer). This combination delivers a rich response in the low-mid frequencies, with an immediate attack and brilliant high harmonics. A specially contoured ergonomic recess (Custom Scoop) in the upper cutaway allows the left hand to comfortably wrap around the body and move freely across the highest frets. The glossy Orchid Dusk finish highlights the wood’s natural grain, while the body maintains a balanced center of gravity whether seated or standing.

Wide Thin Neck & 24-Fret Rosewood Fingerboard

The neck is made from a single piece of maple and follows PRS’s Wide Thin profile, with a slim thickness that reduces palm resistance during fast arpeggios and legato playing. The fingerboard is made from select Indian rosewood (Indian Rosewood), with a 10" (254 mm) radius and a 25" (635 mm) scale length, ensuring balanced string tension between classic vintage and modern specifications. The 24 Jumbo frets provide a wide contact surface for clean bends without loss of tone, while the distinctive PRS Birds inlays offer clear visual orientation along the entire neck.

Fishman Fluence Herman Li Electronics & Floyd Rose 1000 System

The electrical system features a specialized set of Fishman Fluence Signature Herman Li humbuckers, based on lossless multi-voice coil technology. Push-pull controls activate multiple tonal profiles, ranging from modern active high-output sounds with clear note separation to passive vintage responses and crisp single-coil tones. The hardware includes a recessed-mounted Floyd Rose 1000 Series Double-Locking Tremolo floating tremolo, which, together with the steel locking nut, maintains stable intonation and tuning during extreme vibrato-arm use (dive bombs and flutter effects).
