Oil Filter Wrenches

The Techstar oil filter wrench is designed for removing and installing threaded oil filters in tight spaces. The curved mechanism tightens the arms as it rotates, providing a secure grip without damaging the filter. The body is made of high-quality steel alloy, wear-resistant and suitable for high temperatures.

• Usage Range: Filter diameter: 55–108 mm (approximately 2.2–4.25 inches) – suitable for most automotive vehicles, SUVs, pickup trucks, and light machinery.
• Operation and Compatibility: Dual drive: accepts 1/2" and 3/8" square drives (includes a removable 1/2" to 3/8" adapter for low-height areas). Works in both directions (2-Way): useful for loosening the filter and controlled tightening during installation.

Instructions for Use:

• Select the drive: 1/2" or 3/8" (or a suitable hex key).
• Place the wrench on the filter and turn in the desired direction; the arms tighten automatically.
• Unscrew the filter; during installation, tighten only according to the manufacturer's recommended torque.

Safety Recommendations:

• Work with the engine off and the filter cold.
• Clean the area to avoid slipping.
• Avoid very long extensions that may deform the filter housing.
