    I thought it would be completely plastic, but it seems quite sturdy and decent for the money! You will need extra batteries for the front lights. It came assembled, everything except the handlebar, which is easy to attach and adjusts to the child's height.

    P.S. while the little lights are amazing, it has terribly awful music that plays quite loudly and doesn't get any quieter... find a way to block the speaker from underneath.
