The Legiones Astartes makes extensive use of MkIV 'Maximus' armour technology. The most distinctive features of this armour are the segmented, squared knee guards, the finely crafted shoulder armour, and the helmets with long, broad face guards and sloped vents.

This complete package is ideal for starting a new Legiones Astartes collection or expanding an existing force, offering a powerful strategy for battles in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. This force is built around a core of MkIV Tactical Legionaries and MkIV Assault Legionaries, supported by a powerful Sicaran Battle Tank and a Contemptor Dreadnought, creating a versatile and balanced army.

This package includes 32 multipart plastic Legiones Astartes miniatures:

The miniatures in this package are highly customizable. The MkIV Tactical Squad kit allows for the construction of up to two Sergeants, each with a plasma pistol and either a power fist, lightning claw, or power sword. Two of them can be built with a nuncio-vox, and another two with a backpack-mounted Vexilla. It includes 20 interchangeable helmeted heads, 12 bare heads, and 36 shoulder pads.

The MkIV Assault Squad includes parts to build a Sergeant with either 2 power fists, 2 power claws, or one power fist or claw and a bolt pistol. The kit includes interchangeable components: 10 helmeted heads, 2 bare heads, and 18 shoulder pads.

The Sicaran Battle Tank is equipped with a twin-linked autocannon, a heavy turret, and a pair of sponson weapons - choosing between heavy bolters or flamers. The kit includes parts to upgrade this vehicle with a hull-mounted weapon - options include a heavy bolter, heavy flamer, or multi-melta, as well as decorative options such as hooks and armour plates.

The Contemptor Dreadnought includes 8 different weapons to choose from and two melee arms, each of which can be built as a Gravis power fist or Gravis chainfist. It includes a variety of optional parts and decorative options.

These miniatures do not have markings for any specific Legion, allowing them to be used in any Legiones Astartes force.
