The Hoya Prond Ex 64 77mm filter reduces the amount of light passing through the lens by 6 stops. When shooting video outdoors, it allows shutter speeds to be adjusted to match the frame rate while maintaining the desired depth of field. It also enables motion blur when filming moving subjects, giving the image a more cinematic feel.

For photography applications, the filter facilitates the use of longer exposures or achieving a shallow depth of field in bright sunlight.

The ProND EX 64 filter uses Hoya's ACCU-ND technology, which prevents color shift and provides consistent image quality. ACCU-ND ensures equal light reduction in both the visible and infrared spectrum, preventing color changes when shooting under various outdoor conditions. Additional ND filters can be stacked on the front, or you can attach a threaded lens cap or another filter.
